Data Model

The Center for Tropical Forest Science network uses a common database structure to store census data from the permanent forest plots. The CTFS Data Model described in detail. Lists of all the entities (tables) and their attributes (columns) with data types and lengths in html or pdf format.

Script to install database in MySQL database

Small changes have been made to the database structure since the documents above were written. The current schema can be installed using the database script provided here.

Common interface

If you maintain your data in other systems and wish to participate in the program and use the analytical tools and other facilities you can load data into the interface described here.
